The Cruisers were started in the early 80’s by the late Sonny Franklin and have been playing in the tri-state area for 40 years. Often billed as the premier variety band, The Cruisers play renditions of true oldies and new oldies alike– ranging from the 50’s to the 80’s!
They have enjoyed a huge following, playing just about every venue around the area, but more specifically famous within what they like to call “The Animal Circuit…” the Moose Lodges, Eagles Clubs, Elks Lodges and more! They’ve also made appearances at just about every carnival, festival, and car show nearby.
The band consists of Mike Lushbaugh on saxophone, Danny Dawson on guitar, Steve “D” Di Laudo on guitar, Christine Cersley on bass and Joey Leggett on drums. Fun fact: if you add each member’s experience together… they bring over 200 years of experience!
