Get ready for a night of electrifying blues with Ghalia Volt Band and special guest Kent Burnside!

Ghalia Volt

Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, Ghalia Volt is a Belgian-born blues-rock singer, guitarist, drummer, and songwriter whose dynamic, gritty music blends roots, Hill Country blues, garage, and rock ‘n’ roll influences. After cutting her teeth as a street performer in Europe and immersing herself in American roots music, Volt has released five acclaimed albums—including Shout Sister Shout!, which reached No.2 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart.

Her highly anticipated new record, Burn the House Down, is set for release on May 15, 2026, showcasing her raw energy and expansive musical vision as she continues to define her place in modern blues and roots rock. On this record, Ghalia teamed up in Nashville with producer JD Simo, a renowned guitaristwho has collaborated with Jack White, Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Lesh, Stevie Nicks, Chris Isaak and Beyoncé, among others.

Volt has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe and has performed at major festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Mammoth Bluesapalooza, Telluride Blues, Bilbao Blues Festival, Blues Peer, and more. Whether performing solo or with a full band, she delivers high-energy, trance-driven sets that connect across generations and genres—blues & roots-based music that’s physical, loud, and builtfor the live stage.

Kent Burnside

Grandson of Hill Country Blues legend R.L. Burnside, Kent Burnside blends Mississippi Hill Country, Delta, Chicago Blues, and Blues-Rock into a style all his own. After early touring with Jimbo Mathus and opening for Buddy Guy, Kent built a 20-year career fronting his own band. His new album, Hill Country Blood, produced by GRAMMY winner Boo Mitchell, features eight originals plus covers of John Lee Hooker and Junior Kimbrough. Raw, soulful, and high-energy, the record honors tradition while forging ahead.
